The mission of the Bird Island Police Department is to provide professional and effective law enforcement services to the residents, merchants, businesses, and visitors of Bird Island for the purpose of protecting lives and property, preventing and detecting criminal activity, and apprehending criminals operating in Bird Island.  Additionally, the Bird Island Police Department strives to be an effective and beneficial partner to other area law enforcement and social service agencies.  Law enforcement services provided by the Bird Island Police Department should exemplify professionalism, impartiality, and integrity.
