Bird Island Sewer Separation Project Update

NOTICE
It is highly recommended that City maintenance crews and residents use minimal calcium chloride (salt) this winter for ice removal on the new concrete work recently constructed with the sewer separation project. This is especially true for the new sidewalks and driveway approaches. Newer concrete is more susceptible to deterioration caused by too much salt. Please use ice removal products that contain minimal (preferably, no) calcium chloride content!
The City has black dirt for sale to local residents at the following costs: $4/yd. for dirt, $1/yd. for loading and $5/yd. for delivery
